Just to report that it is incredibly good...saw it today for the first time and everything fits together perfectly...fighters, ground attack "enemy" planes, AWACS and transportation....not to mention the impressive pyrotechnics Wink

Pictures to come Wink

Heh. Did something similar last year with the german army.

But it was a bit more complex than just a few dogfights and showing off other aircraft. Wink

I've got wait a few weeks before I find out what i think of it. It won't be as good as the one at Leuchars though, just seeing someone admit they thought it was crap tells me that!

Cheeky thing. Tongue I've seen a lot better. Maybe that's the problem. I like the fast jets as much as anyone but prefer the individual displays.

The WWI thing wasn't too bad considering the shortage of genuine aircraft. I enjoyed seeing the Dr.1 & Nieuport replicas in the air. Old Warden is the best place for that sort of thing. Not a classic Biggin Hill. IMHO

I'm hoping tomorrow's show at OW will make up for it.

Good. I see it as a waste of precious cash by an already stretched service who've paid too many PR companies (such as the one that ran the "RAF" magazine seen in shops last year) for rubbish advice. The public may love the new role demo, but it is little comfort for service personnel who have to put up with cutbacks in pay, living conditions and more and more foreign deployments...

IMO singleton displays were much more flexible and offered far more value for money.

As an ex-serviceman, I was cringing through the whole thing. Who did the radio chatter, a handful of air cadets by the sound of if.
