Did you use the recorder or traffic to make the first one? If it was traffic, what package(s) did you use. Great vids.

Dude, your obvious understanding of angles and lighting should be an inspiration to anyone here trying to create good video! Very well done. A couple of your shots ran a bit long, IMO, but your angles more than make up for it.
Not yet having used recorder (FS9 is currently uninstalled and I can't find my discs lol), I can't wait to get back into this aspect of the hobby myself!
One question - there seem to be several shots that have the feel of a chase plane with someone in the back seat holding a camera - sometimes, to use the Malaysia flight as an example, the aircraft will pop in and out of frame. Are you doing that just by playing with the pan? I absolutely love it, and the realism it adds to your film is second to none...I just don't know how to do it! LOL

Many thanks mate.. That you see these things is really nice to hear, I always fly alongside after recording and record that flight as a camera bird and then possibly again for more angles. I can then replay all the planes and film from any angle I wish using the recorder special spot views and CTRL+W (to switch to ai view/ or recorded flights). I usually have the camera about 30 feet ahead of or behind the plane perhaps with a little +/- altitude. As you say I find it gives it realism in movement and flow, it's hard though to keep the camera still on target lol as this camera is fixed to the chase bird and slight roll or pitch is massive when using the camera. As in real life planes are filmed from other planes not fixed cameras usually and realism is what I aim for, not to everybodies taste as I've found but that's what I like.
Thanks again
Brett
