That's the kind of stuff Id Software puts out.  All the Doom series has disturbing stuff like that.  I remember the original Doom had walls made out of skin.  I don't play Doom or Quake.  That stuff is not for me.

I do the WWII FPS's.

Doom 3 was way too boring to play it more than 30 minutes.

The screenie is nice, but way too bright for a Doom game. Grin

- Edit: The WW2 shooters are as boring as Doom.

Them graphics look in my opinion really bad. They are the same as Doom 3's only it's bright. :S\

As for me I am waiting for Episode two, based on the best engine of all time. Source.

ID deserves a lot of credit for starting the Genre, but IMO the games haven't improved since Wolfenstein 3D.

You have to consider the amount of detail in this one character of the game, who knows what it does, how it moves, facial movements etc. Most enemies in Half life, f.e.a.r etc are hid behind masks. Oh and their really going to show the screen shot in the dark aren't they:Smiley

I suppose if you're just a run and gunner.  But being a history buff, I never get tired of them.  I'm currently modifying many of the campaign missions in CFS2 to make them more historically accurate, with the proper ships, etc.  I'm getting more out of that than actually playing the missions.

Since I play Forgotten Hope (get hit and die), I'm not.

I designate single player WW2 shooters boring, because its always allies, allies, allies...
The day has yet to come in which a WW2 shooter will have a single player campaign on the axis side - I doubt that this would be any less interesting than the other side.
