I've been thinking about finally caving in and getting this.  I've been playing around with the iFly 747 and what is frustrating me is the apparent lack of useful SIDS/STARS (I found some for major airports, but O'Hare approaches take me out to minnessota, then back and doesn't get me to the runway).  I know the PMDG is supposed to have a good NAV database, but are the SID and STAR protocols accurate and do they work?  Also, does PMDG model autoland?  I don't think of it as being a frequently used option, but I would like full modeling of the terminal approach procedures.  Thanks for your input.

I have tried auto land a few times and it works perfectly. In fact I tried it on the lowest visibility the simulator can give you with a 25 knot quartering wind and it landed very nicely. New SID/STAR is updated frequently and can be found at http://www.navdata.at/php/sidstar/aio.php?addon=PMDG.
