ok, that would have been an ok'ish composite if you hadnt of used a blur took around the plane. just makes it look stupid! and also some blending is needed, and show more of the plane next time, looks as if you could only be botherd to do the tail end. Also whats with the lens flare, doesnt realy fit in with the pic.

lens flare is not a replacement for the sun or any lights, you need to udnerstand that!

you asked for c&c and i gave it you

please take the points in and implement them in your next attempt, as otherwise people will just stop replying and giving you points.

No lens flare - will remember

I tried my best to take away the blur around the plane, but I was also trying to get rid of the jaggies

the original shot just had the tail end and that was supposed to be a big part of the shot, but ok Grin

Ill try to take ur advice, and im gonna try to re-touch up the pic Cool

LOL... Ok...  hit Start, then Run and write dxdiag.

Now go to the "display" tab.... there you should find your card manufacturer and model. Post it here. Then we will se if we can continue.... Wink

Apart from the blur (which is a major turn off) I quite like the general feeling of this shot. Even more is the fact that the craft lighting fits in almost nicely with the rest of the pic. Commended on that...

Also if you were attempting to have the skyline in the distance slightly out of focus I would try to give it a more gradual start, starting nearer to the foreground, or just forget it all together... a nice attempt though...
And yes.... the lens flare is quite misplaced.... IMO... it would have been better suited to an earlier sunset...

In aid to your AA problem... if you're not already running at your HIGHEST possible resolution... do so... it helps quite a bit even if your card cant support AA... I sim at 1280x1024 and sometimes even 1600x1024 (though the latter gives some really weird sizes when resizing later)...

Nice one, nick! I don't like the blurring around the plane either, but apart from that, it's pretty damn good! It's original too!  Smiley

It's good to see you trying  something different, and it's an interesting view, though I'd introduce it by saying the  plane is LANDING... you  have seen a plane take off, right?  Cheesy

As everyone is saying, AA is your No.1 problem. Until you find out how to enable it your edits are going to be crippled by either jaggies or blur.

Lol, sorry, but there was land on the left, so i thought it would make more sence  if the plane was taking off Grin

Ok then of course you should have AA.

Look in your PC for some application called Catalyst... ATI Catalyst.. if you don't have it download it:

http://ati.amd.com/support/drivers/xp/radeonx-xp.html ;  (download Catalyst Control Suite)

Or a 3rd party one (Omega drivers) (better IMO):

http://www.ngohq.com/home.php?page=Files&go=cat&dwn_cat_id=14&go=giveme&dwn_id=3...

Then in the settings of these programs you should find "Anti-Aliasing"... set it to 4x or 6x...

Wait before installing!!

Can screw up your system!!

Edit: Hmmm... I guess it's ok. Sorry. I just wasn't sure if the catalyst control centre was compatible with the X300. It looks like it is. I wasn't sure if Alonso checked, so there... Smiley
