Goflight has just released a couple of new modules for the GA crowd.  One is a "push/pull" throttle panel, and the other is a multi-mode "all in one spot" engines./lights/etc unit for typical GA commands.  Look kinda' nice if you are into GA ... or want a "Mini-Pit" setup.

Matt,

Yeah..... not cheap by any means.  The whole "simpit" thing is likely out of the price range for the "average simmer".   Wink  It is only for us folks that are truly hard-core addicted and who skip our shots.   Cool

But actually.... Goflight is rather reasonable for SOME stuff....... when compared to some of the more EXPENSIVE options out there that are more literal copies of real aircraft components.

And they are "plug and play".....which if your TIME is worth anything...... is sort of a "discount" off the price.

The VRP-166 radio units are a VERY nice solution to the radio stack in a simpit.  They don't fit that standard Boeing or Airbus panel "module" ...... but that can be dealt with if you make the panel more "generic".

Unfortunately... like most things... their prices seem to be creeping up.

Yes you are right, some of the smaller modules are not so bad, it is just a question of priorities at the moment, which is not really helped by me working in a hanger that has Aerosoft (www.aerosoft.com) as a neighbour  (need drooling Homer Simpson smiley)

Is that considered "cruel and inhuman punishment"?   Wink

I just got their special Victoria Day "sale" of USA Airports 1..... which was four airports from FlyTampa that I don't have .... for $30, shipping included.  EACH of those airports on the FlyTampa site is currently about $21.  What a steal!  Then download anmd install the updates from their site, and add the Aerosoft AES services that I already have credits for.

Ye-haw.  (Just wanted to drive Fozzer nuts with that one.  Wink)

I'll bet these are a response to Desktop Aviator.

As for price... most of the GoFlight stuff is very cheap compared to the cost of bashing one together by other means. Try building a radio head or MCP at comparable price...
