You are going to need 600W at least. ThermalTake, PC Power and cooling, Earnmax, Corsair are all good names to look at.

Also what RAM are you using?

Cheers

Yea, your problem is that your RAM is going to hold you back. You may get 3Ghz, but I can't guarantee the stability.

Cheers

I Fly Sim!

I can tell you right now, clocked on both system and card... Geforce 7900 GT = 18-19 -locked- FSX frames, tops.

After Sp1 you may get 24, IF you are lucky.

That assumes you are trying to run the sim with decent slider settings and visuals.

And 18 frames if the sim and the system are set up right is VERY smooth. I usually find people do not know how to set up FSX, Windows or their system. FSX is not a game, its a simualtion and DOES NOT need 30 frames to run smooth like a game.

If you are running FSX at 30 frames now, that is 2/3 of the problem.

But 3Gb RAM do a big difference than 2 Gb 667 Mhz? My system i think that 2 gb its good enough!
i will lock in 25 fps, that a great rate for this game...I'm waiting for buying the PSU and cooler, so I'll formate the computer, puting XP Professional (Vista sucks! Sad), and final buy the FSX and Cougar Thrustmaster... Cheesy
See you later! Wink
