Hello,

I have a problem with the Harrier when i start to taxi after landing , it starts to bounce and jump about and disappears under the runway and back up and then goes all over the place , at which stage i have to stop the sim , i have tried other airports and took out the fuel but it makes no differance,

I have never had an aircraft do this before and other than this it fly's great ,

         Any help would be appreciated,

         Thanks,

          Roger.

Do you put the nozzles in the trail or aft position after landing, or taxiing? Vertical nozzles may be a cause -

Hello Mike,

Well perhaps its me , i land at about 30mph full flaps and the nozzle at 45 degrees and retract it all staight away once on the runway but it starts jumping before it stops.

When i start on the runway i have tried with the settings the same [full flaps 45 etc ] and taxi all around and it seems fine , it just seems to happen when landing, Very strange!,

              Thanks,

               Roger.

Hello Mike,

Well after a lot of practice it looks like you maybe right and its just getting the nozzles right when landing, if i land and stop before any bouncing occurs its ok.

                Thanks again for your help,

                Cheers,

                 Roger.

PS  Edit,

I have installed Rob Brendregt's Hover control gauge and while its not perfect its as good as you can get with the limits of the sim, no more jumping at least! Grin,  [RCBhcd10.zip]
