Out of the 707/727, Which of the two would you more highly recommend? Also, which would perform better on my EMachines T3256 (AMD Athlon XP 3200+ Processor, 512MB PC2700 DDR Memory, ATI Radeon 9550 256mb Video Card). I don't fly Heavies too often, but I do fly them. Both look excellent, but I'm wanting some opinions on how they'll run on my system, as well as which of the two would be the better choice in general.

Quick notes: I do a LOT of VC flying, so click-able gauges is a nice bonus, and I take quite a few screenies (Which, by the exterior models on both, shouldn't be a problem).

Any input is appreciated  Wink

I have both, and like both of them.  The cockpits are superior.  As far as I am concerned, they both are well worth the money.  The cockpits both have a "landing view" to switch to, which gives an expanded forward windscreen for easier landing and takeoff, if desired (bigger windscreen, but just shows the top part of the instrument panel)

I run mine on FS9 - I do not have FSX yet, so I cannot comment on FSX performance or any FS9 vs FSX characteristics.

I cannot advise you on your machine - I have a 128MB Radeon 9700G Pro AGP, a Gateway with 2.66GHz Pro 4 processor, 512MB RDRAM.  Both aircraft work just fine with this, though I really do not know what all that stuff really means!

These are two great airplanes.  I only prefer the B707 because I have a couple of hours, a couple of touch and goes and a full stop landing in the KC-135E.  Although I flew the A4 and A6 in the Navy, I thought the 135 handled like a dream for such a large airplane.

Regards
Mike
