Nothing to do with us. We don't share users details and we certainly wouldn't promote spamming ('cos we hate it). Just one of those co-incidences. This week I've had no spam on my hotmail account but my gmail has been hit really badly. One of those things

I would suggest that someone has your address in their mailbox and got hacked and your name went onto a spam list, the same has happened to me. For the first year I was using gmail I got about 5 pieces of spam in total! Now I get between 15-40 a day and it is nothing to do with me!!!!!!!!!! Alas once someone has your address on one spam list it ends up on dozens of others.

Sorry you have experienced this but, like Ozzy says, it has NOTHING to do with us.

Not to worry, a1....
...
I get well over a hundred Spam E-Mails every day, which I delete en-block...
...!
As a Violinist, I suspect you have recently visited a Site declaring "Violin Lessons For Beginners"....
....and have
fortunately
unfortunately discovered pictures of very large naked ladies, sporting Cellos between their legs....
...!
As a Hammond Organ player, I had a similar experience after visiting a Site advertising "How to improve your Organ"....
...!
...(E-Mail me for the address)...
...!
Unwary visits to these Sites often result in much unwelcome Spam arriving in your In Box....
...(as the Actress said to the Bishop!)...
...!
LOL...
...!
Paul..."How to breathe whilst playing the Nose Flute, in 10 easy lessons"....MMmmm?.....

Well as i read the properties of the spam it has addresses of Verizon Internet customers. Just might be the service. And the contents of the spam is about imitation Rolex Watches, Erectile Gain and "FDA Approved Drugs".

The difference there Alex is they spam the forum. They can't get to our members email addresses unless people allow their email address to show in their profile.

There you go, Chums...
...!
Excellent advice...!
NEVER, EVER, advertise your E-Mail address in your post, or in your Profile...
...!
Spammers trawl Forums like ours for E-Mail addresses to give us endless grief...
...!
Always "PM" (or E-Mail) your E-Mail address to a friendly Forum Member who you can trust, and requests it...!!
