What is the largest number of engines ever placed on an aircraft, comercial or military?

So far I have come up with the Boeing B-47 with 6 jets and 18 rato assist rockets. Any others?

Firstly, I wouldn't include rockets, as you just end up with many aircraft that have been equipped with RATO, which is exactly what it says it is - Rocket assisted take off.

As for normal:

Dornier Do-X - 12 engines IIRC

SARO Princess - 10 turboprops

B-36 - 6 piston, 4 jet...
