You can try this:

http://www.simviation.com/fs2004scenery46.htm

I've downloaded it but haven't installed it.

And this one is photorealistic scenery.  I passed on this because I'm not sure it behaves well with autogen scenery.  But from a good altitude, I bet it's awesome.

But to be honest, as someone who's spent alot of time at and around LAX, the stock fs9 scenery isn't too bad.  I just had an issue with the terrain.  The LA basin has it's number of hills and mountains that are landmarks to me.  I installed Abacus USA Extreme Landscapes, and they got the terrain right.  But the Hollywood sign is now wrong, well, it never was right, actually.  I should learn how to fix it one day.   Tongue

I would avoid Photo-realistic Scenery like the plague, unless you are into flying jumbo jets at an altitude of 40 thousand+ feet AGL!...Wink...!

...and just see what happens when you leave the Photo scenery area and enter the realms of Autogen scenery....A sudden jolt to the nervous system!.... Shocked...!

Much better, are the downloadable, individual scenery designs, using stock scenery 3D objects from designer programs...Wink...!

I saw how someone fixed it by flattening the terrain.  That's a wrong solution too.  The Hollywood sign sits on the side of Mt. Lee, not on top of it.  And with the stock scenery in fs9, you can't distinguish Mt. Hollywood from Mt. Lee.  With Extreme Landscapes, you can.  BTW, there's a hiking trail that leads up to the top of Mt. Hollywood, I've been up there a number of times.  Mt. Lee is fenced off, to get to the Hollywood sign, you gotta tresspass!   Shocked

I installed the scenery that can be found here.

http://www.simviation.com/fs2004scenery46.htm

It's excellent, I love it, except for one glaring thing.  The author attempted to simulate the 405 freeway and it doesn't look good to me.  But all the other stuff looks excellent!
