..Software Mixer... Shocked...!

Do you mean that you are going to route all the analogue sounds through your computer/Laptop soundcard using a software mixer program, en route to the speakers... Shocked...?

All my multi-channel mixers/cross faders are free-standing, dedicated, hardware devices fitted with 1/4 inch jack plugs for all my keyboards, mics, guitars, etc....

But these have to be purchased.

It would not be practical to lug around a complete computer/software setup just to use as a simple Mixer/Fader... Shocked...!

One of my Nephews is a DJ, with a twin record player, and he uses a seperate hardware multi-channel mixer/fader for the purpose.

Paul....a bit mixed up... Roll Eyes...!

Thanks Foz, I think I was too unprecise.

I will bring my external harddrive filled with music, and as it´s only possible to open one winamp-player simultaneously, I´m looking for a way to blend the beginning and the ending of two songs together...I know that the Windows Media Player can do this, but this is too mechanical (automated).
