For further clarification...Song was Delta's try for an LCC to compete with JetBlue. They were to Delta what Song is to Ted. They had advanced IFE, food available for purchase, etc. Eventually Delta rolled them back in the mainline. Now, a lot of the features of Song (Leather seats, the IFE) are being integrated into the mainline fleet. You can still see some 757s in Song Livery that by chance haven't had a repaint since Delta pulled the plug on song.

yeah flying from Atlanta to MCI on a Delta 738 was nice. Leather seats, in-flight move, it was teh life.

It was. Song is no longer being operated. The features you saw on the 738 were features that were originally only on Song a/c, but Delta is now integrating them into their whole fleet.
