~S~ all,

I'm working on v2 of my long-shaft joystick and have been looking for options for the grip and controls. I ended up ordering one of these: http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/elpages/b8pistolgrip.php

Just the ticket with a nice feel in the hand and good positive responses to the buttons and, with the current exchange rate, not unreasonably priced I thought (until British Customs stuck me for £21 in charges... ouch!)

Anyone know of any other control grip possibilities and sources (other than hacking existing joysticks)? Exchange rate apart, genuine aviation-rated equipment  like this is expensive and ultimately not really necessary for home cockpit use.

Any thoughts?

Cheers,

Pads

I've seen similar used grips on eBay for a lot less...

Tempted to buy one myself, but I'm determined for some reason to carve my own. We'll see how that turns out... Grin
