I was just wandering if anybody fancied another floatplane MP sometime?

Although I was thinking of having a higher percentage of water landings this time & not using the GPS, just NDB's & a map to give the tour a more bush flying feel to it.

The only problem with default FS9 is that the water runways look, well, crap - so I was thinking of using the Alaska Trophy Tours Camps (AVAILABLE HERE), this involves having to download some extra scenery/texture files in order to use it.

So this thread is really just to put the feelers out & see if anybody wants to download & install the camps so that we can fly into some proper camps instead of the barren FS9 offerings.

The first tour I have in mind would be this, just an ICAO code to get you started & then just NDB's from there on, you'd print off this map & that will be all the navigation aid you will get:
...

Anybody up for it? Let me know what you think Smiley

Cheers,

TSC.

I'd love to take part TSC. Sounds much more like my kind of tour, kinda going where we want, more like real flying. Count me in(dates notwithstanding)

Following Tips from Andrew (Esselbach) a few years ago, I took a trip to Avsim's "Bush Fliers Unlimited", and downloaded and installed the following:
Alaska SH1
Alaska SH2
BFU Camps
Eagle Field
Fox Camp
Fox Outpost 2,3
Moudi Farm
Sandy Cove
Shore Point

Lots of interesting Alaska Bush Flying Scenery add-ons available at Avsim...Wink...!

Search: Naji's Bush Scenery.

(Note that many of the above require additional scenery objects to be in place).
