Same rules as last time lads, see previous threads..
My prediction:
1: Raikkonen
2: Alonso
3: Kubica
A bit ambitious, I know, but BMW have to come good soon..
And Lewis' fairytale will have to end soon as well

1.Hamilton (I actually think this guy can do it...awesome driving in Malaysia!)
2.Alonso (Just generally very good)
3.Button (Go Britain...its not going to happen but hey!)
:D:D:D)
good luck all....I have no chance of winning after missing the other 2

well quali once again splits the two up. Massa, Hamilton, Raikonen and Alonso. If Hamilton gets a good start, then we could be looking at his first win.

[Neck on line]
Hamilton (what's the odds of a first corner move on Massa - considering he's done it on the previous two starts?)
Alonso
Massa
Raikonnen's engine will go on lap 34. Or won't...

Well, Lewis makes me eat my words again... the kid just gets better and better.
And on a side note, is anyone getting tired of the tabloids going on and on about him being "The first black driver in F1" ?
It was relevant before he started his first race, but is wearing a bit thin now....

I am getting more tired of the tiger woods comparisons and so it seems is Hamilton. Now take nothing away from Tiger, it takes a lot of skill to play golf at the level he does, and to be as dominant as he is is even more impressive. But in the end walking around a field all day in chase of a piece of plastic and rubber only to hit it away again, is nothing compaired to driving an F1 car round a track for 90 minutes in 95* heat.
The kids had an amazing debut so far, exceeded everyones expectations. The media needs to focus on that and nothing else.
Plus lost in all of his media news, Anthony Davidson is doing an amazing job at Super Aguri.

Yeah, I'm getting sick of the Tiger comparisons too but it was the black thing that irked me... I can't remember them being quite as vocal about Karthikeyen being the first Indian... maybe I'm wrong.

Nothing to do with me but surely this is what the comparison with Tiger is all about. Nothing to do with golf except that Woods was the first successful black person (actually mixed race) in this predominately white sport. There's no point in Hamilton complaining or getting upset. He must have realised this would happen when he accepted the job & I'm afraid he will have to get used to it. At least he's been successful right from the start which is more than many other new drivers have done. I wish him every success for the future.

The only thing I would say is, apart from one comment he made about the tiger woods comparison getting a bit tiresome. Its those around him who have been getting upset and annoyed. Lewis just seems incredibly calm and relaxed all the time. It helps that the team are being very restrictive with him and the media. But just in general. He reminds me a lot of Mika Hakkinen in his championship year.

You're quite right Doug, my point is why don't they (the tabloids) concentrate on the driver and the man.. not the colour. I couldn't care whether he's pink, blue or green, he's a born racer.

Yes, particularly as it is very disrespectful to a certain Willy T Ribbs who competed when qualifying actually involved having to fight to get onto the grid.

Quite. Who cares about someone's ethnicity? It is irrelevant. What's more saddening is even the more serious press are getting excited about it.

Unfortunately it IS relevant. Whatever we may like to think, racial prejudice is alive & kicking in this country & getting worse. It's even worse in some parts of the US. Whether he likes it or not, this young man will be held up as a role model for 1,000s of disillusioned black kids from deprived areas. It will be interesting to see if he can handle the pressure.

And every time someone makes the distinction and seperates him because of his "colour", it creates a even bigger divide. Of course, and the press don't concentrate on this much, we know that he is actually mixed race, having a "black" father and a "white" mother.
All that aside, he's a bl**dy good driver, and I can't wait for his first win.

One of the moments of the race, a certain Alonso being passed by another German. Bet there was a smile on Schumi's face as that happend.
Very good race from the red bulls aswell shame about the retirements.
Flawless from Massa, cant help thinking he was only driving as fast as he needed too rather than the maximum the car could give. Lewis now tied for the lead in the championship. Guess whats going to be in the papers tomorrow.
But great race, just getting better.

Well, to be fair, if LH gets 2nds and 3rds all season then he may well be very near the top at the end...

As long as he can throw in a couple of wins then yeah. Last year Alonso didn't have the most wins but still won by a fair margin by that consistancy of podiums. Further reason to change the points system. (after Lewis has won the title this year, I mean ahem)

No need at all. Let consistency prevail, although I must admit I preferred the old 10, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1 system for the top six.

Thoroughly enjoyed the race today, great driving from Massa, Hamilton and the Red Bulls, but Alonso seemed to be struggling to catch his teammate and Massa throughout...shame about the knock that Button and Speed had so early on too!
