hi! i've tried to find clues about how to get from 3dmax ( 5-9 vers) to FS without touching gmax but i don't seem able to find such information so i decided to post.  Tongue

i'm autodesk certified now, but i see 3dmax is wonderful for modelling but Gmax its not so much compatible with 3ds files exported form 3Dmax9 ( the appear very weird) so i've tried importing DXF's coming from max9 but seems like starting over again i loss so much data with that procedure, what i have to use to get my max files into the mdl format? thank you very much friends. i hope you can help me with this   Roll Eyes

CHeck the FFDS forum and/or e-mail Fr. Bill.

THere are several postings there (and here, I believe) about exporting using the Panda exporter, etc.
