it is coming up on the 90th anniversary of The Battle of Vimy Ridge and i was thinking we should have a WWI themed airshow next saturday the 14th.
at a grass airstrip close to vimy ridge
post here if you are interested, post the plane you want to fly also

Perhaps I might possibly make it. I won't garuntee it.  Roll Eyes first I have to find a good plane. haven't played flight simulator for what seemes like forever though because I recently got IL-2 sturmovik

I'm thinking about the Fokker DVII and painting it up in ernst udets colors.

becasue there are only 3-4 people flying, the show will be postponed until next saturday the 21st.
Hoping to get more people flying

I'll definitely, positively, absolutely be there.  Maybe.

David Eckert's Camel is gorgeous, but heavy on the frame rates for MP flying.  And some very impressive designs like the Albatross mega-pack or the old SimTECH Dr.1 are big downloads (and the SimTECH HP 0/400 is even bigger).  So I'll probably fly an Eindekker or DH2, I always liked those two  Cool

There's nothing wrong with flying the default Vimy over Vimy Ridge, you know...

it will be at LFQQ about 30km from Vimy, France
i am enhancing the AFCAD for the airshow by adding a grass runway etc.
i will post a link for the AFCAD when i make the program by friday
