Do this:
Start--->run--->type "%appdata%\Microsoft\fs9" without quotes--->press enter--->open up fs9.cfg

Find the line:
TERRAIN_TEXTURE_SIZE_EXP=

Valid values are:
8=256X256
7=128X128
6=64X64

With 8 obviously being the highest quality. Mine would read: TERRAIN_TEXTURE_SIZE_EXP=8

Some people also sharpen there images to make there ground textures look sharper, this is kinda cheating though..... Tongue Also, fsX has textures 4 times as sharp as fs9.

should i make a backup of the original and save it? so a back up is just to copy the fs9.cfg and put in in another folder right?
