I'll be there in my new Cessna 152. No autopillock so I have to fly it all by hand. And type messages to you at the same time. And drink my Saturday evening beer. And do some other things too probably. Don't expect me to land in one piece.......

Crash Wink (still typing English while having too much beer)

If we were flying to Ciampino I would have been to both airports in real life.. Cheesy

Rather interestingly just south of Fiumicino is the ancient Roman port of Ostia, which anyone who has done CLC book 4 will be familiar with Wink

Ostia, with a 737 on approach to Fiumicino visible in the distance Wink
...

I might be able to make it Smiley

.mic....I like Rome and Naples Smiley

Looking good tonight...Wink...!

It's only about 100 miles, so I will wheel out one of my trusty C152's NPI New Plymouth Aero Club fitted out with a nice Bendix-King radio stack, so the Nav-Aids will come in handy...>>>>

LIRN: Heading = 301 degrees. Left turn after take off.
LIRM: NDB = 343.0.
LIRL: VOR= 111.12. NDB = 379.0.
LIRE: NDB = 339.0
LIRF: VOR = 114.90. NDB = 321.0

Time for a gentle cruise...and keep Crash company... Smiley...!

Cheers all...!

Paul.... Cool...!

P.S. Looking at Mic's photo' above....a warning not to fly too low on the approach with your wheels down... Shocked...!

Sorry I couldn't make it. Had to help a friend move and it all took a little longer than expected. See you all tomorrow on Jimbo's tour I hope.
