Can someone help me?? I am trying to upload an avitar pic, when I paste in the link (with & without between it) I get a message saying that there are invalid characters in it. What does this mean, and what am I doing wrong?
Thanks

What is the file name of your image & did you upload it to the server?

Try renaming it without spaces in the file name & upload it again. You could use hyphens or underscores instead of spaces if you wish.

Put '%20', in place of spaces.

Much easier to use file names without spaces. Also keep them as short as possible. I've been doing this since file prefixes were restricted to a maximum of 8 digits. There's no need for these long complex file names.
PS. I note that thunderbird took my advice.

Theis is right, as stated in the Image Upload page avatars must not be more than 10kb and not more than 100 pixels wide. Otherwise the server tries to compress them and it slows down any threads you've posted in.
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!
