So? I just saw it.. And I liked it very much. The Fight scenes are awesome! Quite bloody also.... Was surprised with the amount of female nudity in it...
It seems to be causing quite an uproar though..
Has any of you seen it? if so What are your opinions.
Ow yeah My advice is... Go see it!

I saw it, and loved it...
...I don't see whats wrong with the nudity though, all* women got a pair, and apperantly, they're just soooooo much worse than the image of someone being decapitated...
*Almost all women...some of them are just not "gifted"...

I've been waiting for this movie for soooo long! I'm really looking forward to the premiere here in Denmark (the 30th of March).

I saw it, i expected more from it. I was disappointed. let me explain. I come from the historical perspective rather than the adult comic book perspective. Prior to the showing, History Channel had a whole week of programming themed on the release of 300. So I'm expecting a movie that was pretty much based on the history.
<spoiler alert>
When I saw Xerxes, I thought "the guy looks like a freak!" The real Xerxes looked nothing like that. Monsters? What are monsters doing in this, a movie I thought was based on a historical event! And why is Xerxes standing above a rock observing the battle? That would never have happened. And enticing the traitor to partake in an orgy as a reward for his treatury? The real traitor was enticed with riches! But I had to remind myself, this movie is based on an adult comic book.
<end spoiler alert>
I guess I just had different expectations, so I may have set myself up to be disappointed. I saw it, I enjoyed the cinimatography, I enjoyed the fight scenes, but I wouldn't bother seeing it a second time. blah.

yeah i thought it was a good film... And i agree with Stormtropper, how exactly is a b00b more ghastly and disturbing than seeing people decapitated, disemboweled, etc.
And the monsters kinda ruined the movie. The rhino and elephants werent too bad, but that freak who for some reason could withstand being stabbed in the eye just took the movie down a peg.

And let's not forget lobsterman! He showed up briefly, but his entrance was quite memorable! If I were watching a FANTASY like......Lord of the Rings, I would have no problem with lobsterman. But lobsterman in 300? What's up with that???!!!!????
