I have come across Alrot's nice Hs/Bae125 and am finding a workaround to the same FSX landing light issue that he came across. So, Alrot, I kindly ask for your assistance here, as you have found a way around the same problem! Specifically, this concerns the landing light created with a semi-transparent poly (as seen from outside the aircraft and in VC mode). On my own model, I cannot get the part to be invisible during daytime. I have added a variety of conditions to the xml_parts file in the Makemdl folder, with varying results, none satisfactory. Wondering if you would mind sharing the .xml code used in your HS project Alrot, I would really appreciate any help you may provide.

No there is no semitranparency at all you have to make a drawing take a look in my HS texture file name luz_t.bmp with "Image tool" or DTXBmp softwares take a look completly is a simple drawing with somegray,..It a white map in DTX3..
Due that this is not my invention, and its a method invented by my  friend Chuck Jodry,I may got in trouble if I post that here ,read this link:

read the fist post only
http://www.aerodynamika.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?num=1164141448/10#10

then go for this part

paid atention in all the two pages

http://www.aerodynamika.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?num=1171553388

If that would be my idea I would post it right here ,is the same thing anyway Its very explicit and easy

Any doubt or question, I'm here to help you..Just ask..

Thanks for the quick response and the info. I was looking for the second link above, as it had been read before, but was unable to track it down since.
