Some time ago, I lamented the FS presentation of most throttle quadrants ; in real life, engine controls go forwards and backwards, NOT up and down.     I have seen a couple of tries at more realistic layouts but few and far between.         With so many talented designers out there, I'm astonished that there are so few realistic consoles.       And before anybody asks, yes, I have tried to create a realistic radial- movement quadrant using so many different programmes that, in the end, I had to admit defeat.    Clearly not my part of ship.     Besides, I've got my hands full tinkering with .air files for my collection of WWII aircraft.       But there must be somebody out there with the knowledge and ability to produce an item that is very much missing in FS today.
