Interesting, for sure.....

I suppose it depends what you want to achieve. Just experiment!
I would start with playing with the colours...

Very important is to learn how to use layers. Its easy. You can find tutorials easily on the internet. Make the changes in the layer, then play with the opacity of the layer before joining the background layer with the original. Often only a small change is effective...

If you have any specific questions just ask and someone  will surely help - there are  some good tutorials on ScreenShotArt.com too, for more advanced  stuff.
