They showed it live so I only caught the first 45 minutes. Raikönnen was just blowing the competition away. 15 second lead at about the 20th lap...

A better than average race, not a thriller in my opinion. Highlights include Lewis Hamilton giving us Brits something to cheer about and Heike Kovaleinen doing his best to outdo the spins on Dancing on Ice Grin

Lowpoint was DC's attempt to decapitate Alex Wurz, which very nearly succeeded.. 6 inches closer and it would have.. Shocked

Next round Malaysia 8th April.

to be fair to DC he was not 100% to blame, Wurz did admit that he saw him in his mirrors.

I wasn't joking when I said 6 inches.... seriously, we could have seen the most horrifying incident EVER in Formula 1.
Fair play to DC though, he admitted it was his fault and went straight to Wurz after the race and apologised.

What happened? It looks like DC got sideways from the pictures, but why? Did Wurz tap him or something?

DC went for a rather optimistic pass but going too fast for the corner he carried straight on as Wurz gave him room for what he thought was a pass up the inside. Unfortunatly with DC going straight on because of the speed the back wheel of dc hit Wurz's back wheel and sent him over the top of wurz's car.
