I voted for FS2004. My computer runs it much better and there are more addons currently for FS9.

I betrayed, and voted for FSX.  FSX has a much better sense of actually flying than FS9 does, from what you see, to how everything flies. Smiley

FSX seems excellent, however the add-on scenery and aircraft from FS9 don't necessarily work on it.  Some items can be converted but most not.  Otherwise FSX seems an improvement (that being said, there is the advantage that FS9 has many of the bugs worked out of it).

2004.  It's nice and runs on my computer, and with the hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars of addons I have it is much nicer than FSX is on my computer.

BTW, this is a VERY biased poll because you are asking in the FS2004 forum, so OF COURSE people are going to pick FS2004

Well I can't be biased, and I could get shot for this but, I picked FSX...I know, I know, the thing that sold me was the VC's, I don't care much for autogen, so I run FSX with aircraft setting on the highest, compared to FS2004 VC's it's like day and night Cool

Well i like fs9 because my pc can run it.I think this is the main reason. FSX its cool with wonderfull graphs and all that, but hey! we mortals can't spend $1000 or more in a machine everytime an fs cames out, and i think there are really good adss to make fs9 relly good. But like someone already said, make this question again, in one or two years from now.
But is interesting to see this opinions-GOOD JOB on posting them.

I dont deny FSX is probaly better than 2004, but With Ground env pro, flight envoirment, active sky and tons of freeware addons and really nice framerates with fs9 maxed out over 55 WOAI and PAI airlines at 100% I am fine with 2004   Grin
