True... but most of the 'troublemakers' were either not Simv members or were very new ones.
If neccesary i'd be happy to help organise the show in future. I'd hate to see it stop.

After tonight's debacle, I'm not sure I'd even bother with another SimV show even with password protection, I'm sorry to say. I wouldn't blame Tweek and Pyro for not bothering again. Sad

I can see where you're coming from Heathaze but I'd like to keep on running the shows - I'm not sure what Tweek thinks.

(Scratch that, I've just read his post Cheesy)

Although things can get messy (e.g. tonight), I (and many others) enjoy showing off flying skills to one another so the shows probably would continue.

I admire you organisers for your perseverance, but I generally find that a large, unrestricted get-together like these various Multiplayer sessions, encourages all the annoying little tits to show-up and make nuisances of themselves.... Cry...!

We need some FAA/CAA representatives on hand to cancel their Pilot's Licences...Wink...!

....and very strict rules applied*...!

Paul... Cool...!

* another well-known Flight Sim Site has ways of sorting the wheat from the chaff during Multiplayer operations... Wink...!

To be fair Fozzer, out of all the shows this is the first time where there have major problems and, lets face it, it was as good as cancelled just as the BBMF started.

You left before the BBMF tried to display, it all fell apart from there sadly.

There were some non-Simviation idiots there, but I would like to see another airshow, as I know that this is obviously not Simviation's best. I didn't even get to fly. Everyone else had left  Cry , and some griefers had logged on, crashing into my plane repeatedly Angry . I did get some pictures of one performance. Will post it as soon as I take it to Paint Shop Pro and edit out the bad language in the text box. *sigh*

Don't let worries kill you, let the church help&&A 747 is just traveling; A Piper Cub, now THAT'S flying!

It has been suggested that we use a special Password, which will only be given to selected participants, but I'm not sure if this would work, because anyone who connects to Sam's Server at the time of the Show will still be able to cause mischief via the Chat Window... Cry...!

(We have a similar problem with our various Multiplayer Tours).

The only other way, is for the organiser to use a special dedicated Server, (their own?), together with a password, which is only given to selected members via the Personal Message system.... Smiley...!

We have used this method in the distant past for Multiplayer flights, and it worked very well at the time...(providing that the Server connection was reliable)...Wink...!

Paul...G-BPLF... Cool...!

I think you've got the right idea there Fozzer. IF we get another show surely that's the only way it could possibly be done.

I apologize for leaving early as well, I was planning on returning shortly after I left, but my wife called and asked to be picked up from our antique shop. What the H happened?

Some people thought it would be good to come in and start flying around and landing and taking off on the runways while people were trying to do there part of the show and we asked them to stop (nicely and un nicely) And most of the people lost their socks and started swearing and cursing and stuff. Not mentaing any names

Lack of discipline, People flying without being on the programme like Someone in a baron . Too much swearing, although I did get annoyed. But some fantastic flying!!!!
