The heat blur is good, but the front of the plane (I don't know if you blurred it yourself or not)
is too fuzzy.

I have to disagree about the heat blur. You would not see heat blur like that in the air. Really only around the ground. Other wise its an amazing picture!!

It's cool, but yes, heat blur in the air perhaps only with a jet fighter or something, and even then I don't know if that would be accurate....also you look fairly low, so I'd expect to see the nose up a bit more, and some flaps or something....maybe I'm wrong?

I agree about the heat blur. It looks pretty nice, but it isn't realistic in this situation. You would be able to see some if it was a jet fighter, as Krigl stated, but only at high throttle levels. The rest of the pic looks ok to me, except the composition. The plane is all the way up in the left corner. It's not good to position the plane on the horizon and right in the middle, but this is also too extreme. I'd lower the plane a bit and drag it to the right a bit. After that you can also loose a big part of the water to bring the plane more into focus. After all, it is the main subject...
