I'm worried about the sound noice fan ,Its not overheat it,At least I have to go to the bios and check it out ,Maybe I got too used to the p3 you coun't hear the fan if you want ..I ve seen another lga775 and they don't sound like that, when the computer its cold and start its OK, but before 10 minutes the RPM of the Fan increases a lot and Im worried about it,YES ITS WELL attached to the cpu an I put some silicon dissipating heat ,I use it a lot for TV etc ,I did it myself and is not the first time,Its the time number 9999999999....

Probe will support some boards. I've always had problems with it in one way or another. It often causes conflicts with sound and you can hear it "pulsing" as it takes readings, and this is on the board it was supplied with Tongue ........ maybe they fixed it but I doubt it.

Doesn't hurt to try it anyway.

Speedfan is the one most people use.

There are other programs on the cpuz site that monitor temps/speeds etc, and Everest does as well.

Check the resource usage if you are going to leave it running.

YOu also need to cross check the readings because if your PLL sensor/sender is not supported correctly the info will be wrong.
