...do you know what...
...?
Every now and again I think about wheeling either my Default Cessna 182S, or my Cessna 182RG out of my Hangar to do the flight...
....
...but..
...
...in the end...
...
...It always comes down to my highly versatile, Default Beech Baron 58D...
...!
I am addicted to Barons...

I don't think I can join you tonight. Player N1899G is online and this is one of the MF's who doesn't open his ports. Everytime he or she is online I get kicked off. I'm getting tired of this BS.
Rant over.
See you next time,
Crash
Seems he/she filed a flightplan. What does this mean? He's online permanently?

Luckily I can make use of my Thompson DSL modem again by the end of next week. This router I have is (hopefully) a temporary thing. I just tried again to connect and it went without any problems. I don't know why this is happening but it seems it has nothing to do with N1899G. Sorry if I offended you, N1899G. It must be some kind of co-incidence.
Well let's hope everything will work out fine next weekend.

Hello Crash..
I was going to suggest if you could possibly connect your Modem directly to the 'Phone line, by-passing your Router, to see if that cured the problem...
But if you can re-connect your trusty Thompson 330 Modem, give that a try...
I use the Thompson 330 without any problems at all....
..and I avoid troublesome Routers like the plague..
...
...!
The Thompson 330 DSL Modem is just a simple Plug-and-Play device, with no complex set-up involved whatsoever...
...!
Paul...I love simplicity...

Hi Paul,
the problem is as follows: In the end of January I changed my telephone connection. I'm now no longer using a telephone line and a DSL line, I'm now making my telephonecalls using VOIP. Thus calling over my DSL line. It's for this I need a router. You simply can't connect a phone to a modem. The telephone company changed something in their systems so I can no longer use my seperate DSL modem. To make things worse I can also no longer call to Africa (were my wife is from) or anywhere else outside of Holland using the cheap pre-paid telephonecard system. I'm now forced to use the 10 times(!) more expensive telephonerates KPN (the telephonecompany) charge me. I called them last week to cancel my VOIP subscription and that will take at least until the end of this week. If everything goes well....
So maybe by the end of this week, beginning of next week I'll be back on my trusty old green modem thingy again. Luckily I kept it and didn't throw it away or sell it.

..or you could move to lovely old Hereford, where we have no such problems with telephone systems and Service providers...
....and you can enjoy Fozzers Amazing Meals, and take advantage of the grass runway in the back garden....

Sounds tempting, Paul. I'd like to visit your part of Britain once. It must be a nice area. But moving there? Nah it's either Holland or Nigeria. Holland for work and my family, Nigeria for vacation and my wifes family.
Cheers,
Crash
