...this goes to someone who know the game alittle better than I do...

...well, I bought this payware F/A-18C a while back, and a F-14A for it recently. Anyways, the installation is very very confusing, and, from what I can tell requires other mods to be installed before I can use either...

...anyways, can someone help? A "dummy" version would be appreciated Smiley (like a complete walkthrough and possibly even links... Tongue)

Thanks,
Jeff

BTW, the F/A-18 and F-14 were from www.cockpits.nl , they got the installation instructions posted on their site too...maybe someone can make more sense out of it than I did.

Hey stormtrooper, I dont mean to change the topic of your thread But I was thinking of getting F4 allied force, I simply cant fly lock on I know that modern jets have self leveling capacity but dang I would be better off flying a cessna 182 and holding a shotgun out of the window I simpy cant do anything but bob around like a jack in the box. Is f4 like that.

Looks like the service pack and any other mods/add-ons need to be installed first. Then the cockpit installation has to be pointed toward the directory(ies) mentioned.

...hmmm...your plane is always tring to autolevel itself?

...check your autopilot and trim settings... (that would be the obvious cause)
