Me too, although Sky One doesn't really bother me, I only watch Dream Team and since Top Gear started up again I don't watch that either... what get's my goat is not being able to watch Sky Sports News, any self respecting footy fans TV Bible  Grin and Sky News.
Anyway, that won't be a problem soon, I'm gonna get a freeview box with Sky Sports News and save myself £20 per month into the bargain. I will miss the Discovery channels mind, but the cost doesn't justify it anymore.
Up yours Branson.

Further ammunition for my intense dislike for Branson. However for once he isn't the only one to blame. Sky are just as guilty. Like two kids fighting really.
The sad fact is, ol dicky keeps spouting on about how its in his customers best interests and he knows that in the end its not a huge loss. Now I know for a fact that sky one and sky sports news are two highly watched channels, Virgin didn't bother to ask their customers they just told them. Its nice to see that in the 5 minutes Virgin have had their name officially on the company they've managed to screw up bigger than telewest did in the 9 years previous we've had them. Roll Eyes They'll be back. Most likely the second sky stops receiving new customers switching from cable to sky.
Sadly I lose out on the two stargates, the simpsons futurama and a couple of other things because of this.
But on the plus side ITV has started showing Friday night lights which covers tues and wed I believe, which I am loving and as mentioned with top gear being back that covers sundays. Add in the fact that F1 will be returning soon, my TV fix is pretty much covered in that lot till they finally sort out their childish games.

Sky News & Sky Sports News are back in CharlottesParents house!
I received my freeview box today, plugged it in and get just as good a picture as Virgin's cable service.
I'll phone Branson in the morning and tell him he can poke his £17 a month for the channels I can get for FREE*.
*OK, my digibox cost £25 but in 6 weeks it will have paid for itself.  Wink
