I wouldn't use 'cool', come to think of it I wouldn't use 'pretty' either, i would use two words of my own choice though...

Knowing just how strict Airliners.net are with the images that they post, unlikely to be photshop.

I dunno, call me stubborn, but there's 3 things that look suspicious to me. That's why I haven't made up my mind if it's a photoshop or not.
1- the snow line seems odd. does snow fall like that?
2- structurally, that looks odd, seems there's more window and structure ABOVE the car's roofline.
3- that airplane tail structure looks like it's axis is off-center of the car's center.

I must admit it looks very odd. If it's a genuine photo it must be a gimmick. For what it's worth the photographer is a regular contributor to Anet.

I also found another photo of this strange beastie taken by a different photographer.

This shows that your odd "snow line" is in fact white paint.
The registration is fake. Here's a shot of the real D-EDKS

PS. Note the position of the lower strut attachment. I can't figure out how they open the doors.

Even though it is not a flyer, is it legal to use the registration of another aircraft? Would that not be the same as me putting a copy of my wifes number plate on my car?

The same thought had occurred to me. Note that both photos of the "car-plane" are dated 1998. The Mooney photo is dated 2005. I don't know how recently the Mooney was registered or whether this was a brand new registration issued around that date. If it was a UK or US registration I could find out. You will know more about the German regulations than me.
