WOWZERS..... Shocked...!!

250 knots..!!

My poor old Default Beech Baron, piston prop, wont go that fast without blowing up... Cry...!
...and it will be pushing it to the limit with the Default King Air, turbine prop.. Undecided...!

My only other alternative to reach those sort of speeds with a Piston Prop is my Shorts Tucano, available here...>>>

http://www.simshed.com/Tucano.html

The trouble is, if no-one else has it in their Hangar, it wont appear in Multiplayer.... Cry...!

I will have to get used to the different radio stack in the Tucano now for Radio Navigation for the hop... Roll Eyes...!

Cheers all...!

Catch you all there for a high-speed run... Wink...?

Paul...G-BPLF.... Cool...!

Don't worry, Paul. I do have the Tucano so you will show up correctly. I think I'll have to fly it too. Nothing else in my hangar flies that fast. Unless I'll take a default Boeing..........

Hi Crash...!

Desperately trying to stick to Default aircraft (for obvious reasons) the only one I could find with the necessary high cruise speed, (and try out), is the Bombardier Learjet 45...!
The controls, (and panel), are fairly straight-forward, and the auto-pilot works OK...

I think what I might do, is start off with my trusty Beech Baron 58 (with everything set-up for the flight), but swop to the Learjet 45 for the "in-flight" part of the hop, and then land with the Baron again at the end... Smiley Smiley...!
I get the best of both Worlds then...Wink...!

The prob with the Tucano is that no-one else will have it and therefore it will appear as a lowly Cessna 172...or whatever...LOL...!

I tried the King Air, but that's no faster than the Baron... Cry...!

So for me, it looks like a spot of practice with one of those nasty "jet-propelled thingies"...aarrrggghhh..!
LOL... Grin...!

Cheers...!

Paul.... Cool...!

...just trying out the hop using the Learjet....pretty nippy!... Smiley...!

I thinks I might have to do what Fozzer is doing.
Or just do the whole hop with the learjet 45

Hi Fighter...

The reason I might use the Baron for take-off and landing is 'cos.....

Bleedin' turbine, and jet engines take much too long to wind-up, and slow down... Cry...!

Which means my take-offs are much too slow, amd my landings much too fast... Shocked...!

No such problems with lovely old Piston Prop Motors... Kiss...!

Tee-Hee... Grin...!

Paul... Cool...!

Do Pilots of Pissed-On aircraft get Pissed-Off when having to fly Jets... Roll Eyes...?
LOL...!

After some difficulties to get connected, I had a great flight. In the beginning flying the Tucano accompanied by Sgt. Bob. Nice flying Bob, well done. Crashed on the first stop. No runway so I slammed it into a tree. Started over again, desperatly trying to catch up using the Learjet but alas, the rest of the group was to far gone. Got kicked of the server right before my approach, managed to get back on. Lost my concentration and broke the nosewheel on impact resulting in the second crash of todays flight. Buggar, next time I'll fly something slow again. No matter how far it is.
