Since it will be a long while before I can figure out what's wrong with my export process in Gmax, I decided to take the time to cook up a 2D panel completely from scratch without cutting and pasting from photos. I did this before for the Chevy Corvette, but my skills on that one were limited and the panel didn't look right. Just look at the shot of the panel [located in page 3 of the project album].

As you can see from the last shot, my skills with painting are getting better.

I decided to modify the panel so that it can accomidate both the standard aspect ratio and wide aspect ratio monitors. This allows me more room for adding more function to the panel. On top of that, the panel looks way better than the last one I made. I'll post an in-game shot of the panel onto the project album as soon as I'm done testing it.

Remember, all of my project shots will be posted on my website.

Alrighty, then. I have just posted a shot of the revised panel onto the project ablum. I'm using Glann Copeland's gauges in the panel since they fit the overall theme of the panel, although a permission to include his gauges in the final design is still pending.

Can you get a shot of the interior for me [assuming your won't get in trouble with your superiors]. It would be even better if you can get a straight on shot of the dashboard since I'm making military version of the Hummer. Cool
