This week's Judge was Eno, who needs no introduction….

The competition: AFTER DARK. Night time shots, no dawn, no dusk, just the blackness of night and whatever illumination you can find….

The winner is:

SGT. GABE!!!

The winning shot:

...

Eno's judgement:

I loved the fact that this looks like it could be an accidental shot taken by an astronomer taking shots of the moon when the aircraft just happened to surprise him.

The rest of the shots were fantastic! Well done to everyone.

CONGRATULATIONS, SGT. GABE!!!

And thank you very much Eno for being our Judge!

The new comp will be posted by Monday night, I hope.

Thanks to all that took part, hope to see more great entries this week!

Thanks Eno!  Personally I didn't think this shot could compare with some of the others, but I'm glad to hear that you like it Wink.  I'll be thinking of a topic pretty soon so keep your eyes open Wink.

Well I remember reading a tutorial on how to bring the moon into your shots...it's probably in the tutorial library Wink.  Basically, using an advanced spot view in Recorder, you set the zoom to for example 5x and then make the distance from the plane very great.  This makes the moon very big.

As for the crispness, all I can say is I use the Moon set 1 from FS Skyworld.  That is a beautifully crisp moon Shocked.

Does that help?
