The Simviation International Airshow is taking off once again, and this time expect to see great displays from older members, but also perhaps some of the newer members will join us to show off their flying skills. Whether it be a duet, a single display or a whole formation, you can find it all here at the SimV Airshow!

Our initial date for the show is Saturday 17th March 2007, 1700GMT.

If you're interested, leave your name here!

See you there!

I found out that in Ohio 1700 GMT is 12 O'Clock noon so it should be at noon for you too, depending on where you live in Florida. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Wink

Theres normally some good home cooking from fozzer Cheesy

Ill see if the SimVBBMF can put together something.

As for solo, I'm looking at doing an F/A18 display (using aerialfoundry(it has better dynamics) but Ill change to the freeware one first)

Im also up for doing an extra 300 display in the default extra.

If the new FSHost works, then perhaps you'll be able to fly in FSX.

However, a lot of the aicraft flown may not display correctly in FSX, so it might be to your detriment.

Still, you can give it a go.

OH if youve downloaded the cfs2 yak 9 I linked just delete it because I'm uploading an upgrade making the yak work for fs9, and it should show up tomorrow.

FS9 is probably the best platform for airshows at the moment, but i think fsx will start to pick up pretty soon.

Don't be too bothered about saying which aircraft you'll be flying yet, as there'll be a specific thread for that (two more, in fact). I don't even know what I'll be flying!

Just so you all know, everything that has to do with the SimViation Internation Airshow will be posted onto the following page of my website. That way, as Cspyro21 puts together the event, you can stay in the same page as everyone else.

http://www.flightsimgroundvehicles.com/simvevent.htm

You'll see a list of online performers under the title "contestants". The names in
white
will be a list of people from SimViation while the names in
blue
will be those who come from the FSGV forums [so far, sadly, I'm the only visitor from FSGV  Grin].

Once Cspyro puts together a thread of who's gonna fly what, that information will be posted on my site. It's going to be tedious for me though as some of us tend to change our minds as to which addon we're gonna use.

Which is what the programme thread is for.

Once I've gathered all of the aircraft and all of the links after a certain deadline, I'll post the programme thread and it'll be final. No changes after that. Wink

Once I've gathered all of the aircraft and all of the links after a certain deadline, I'll post the programme thread and it'll be final. No changes after that.

It would be nice if you'd given a link so we could all see your 'ol F-16'... It can't be Olssons mind, far too big. I would suggest find one of the many AI alternative models.

to whome it may concern Cheesy; I will be flying in from hoxton park (YHOX) for my display, which is about a 4-7 minute flight from there to the airfield. unless that's illegal or something.

also if anyone wants to do a mock dogfight with me as the demo we could do that instead.

Guys, I think we may have just reached our limit here. If I remember correctly, FS can only allow up about 16 (maybe 18) people into a single session. Right now I count 17 people on the list.

Don't worry. Often people don't turn up anyway. We've never had a programme that's run exactly as it was posted.

Well, I think the host can change the limit; but the overall limit for having the most users in a single session is either 16 or 18.

I think Sam's Server also allows as many people as they can get on there, Kat - I remember he said something like that when it was set up...
