How do i communicate using mic with other players in multiplayer? i want to talk to tower and ask for clearance before taking off or landing. and i dont know how to change to radio channel Smiley

i know i am a noob please no flame.

FSX ON LOW SETTINGS RULES!

FSX multiplayer has voice comm already. To use it, hold down:

CAPS LOCK to transmit only on the frequency your comm 1 radio is set to.

SHIFT + CAPS LOCK to transmit to everyone in the session over all frequencies.

FSX has voice capabilites built into the system, along with the other features.

with the previous versions, Teamspeak, or to a lesser extent, Roger/Wilco, and Ventrilo; are programs used by gamers for voice chat. the program of Choice for Flight Sim is Teamspeak. go to www.goteamspeak.com to get the RC2 CLIENT. then find flight sim servers (look at the multiplayer forum) and join up.

even with the built in voice, most people still use teamspeak becuase of habit and ease of use. Wink
