You're right. But I can't see how he was more of a waste than a Playboy model. Not even an attractive one!
Seriously....who are you to judge how much of a 'waste' someone is??
You mean the same way that 'Politically Incorrect' said that Kurt Cobain was a complete waste? You didn't pick up on that.

It's
his
life and
his
opinions.
As long as he doesn't break any rules he can post whatever f*ck he wants on here.
If you get offended by it, it's your problem, not his.

Please find me a post by me where I've said that Anna Nicole Smith was a complete waste. Maybe then I'll know what the hell you're getting at me for.
Just for the record, when I said:

...I wasn't bad mouthing Playboy models (or any other models for that matter). But to say you shouldn't be criticising celebrities you know nothing about, then to go and say a respected (yes, he was) musician is any less of a person... it's a bit hypocritical don't you think?

Yeh im sorry though Tweek, I didn't mean to target you...I havent really 'studied' this thread, I just got the general tone of it and saw your post......Anyways, all I was saying is i think its wrong to judge people like that.

You mean the same way that 'Politically Incorrect' said that Kurt Cobain was a complete waste? You didn't pick up on that.
But you did pick up on it and thank you for proving my point. See how fast you got defensive by my remark? I knew using him as a example would pull someones chain quick
And you were the first who took the bait. Sorry no intent on any specific one person to be used as a example.
My point is most people here have no clue what she was really like when the cameras were away, but instead judge her by what they do know (or more like what the media wanted you to think of her). You never know when someone who DID actually know her might just show up and read this spew and yes take offense becasue she isn't here to defend herself. To be making remarks about someone especially after their death is just wrong no matter who it is, someone out there did know that person for what they really were.
As for elaborating, Heretic already did that for me, except I wouldn't give him credit as a poet either. He was a already washed up drug addict that put his depressive thoughts into music the kiddies would listen to so they would have a reason to walk around all day just as depressed and messed up as him.

I was quick to defend him, only because I wasn't one to attack ANS.

I'm pretty sure that was never his goal. He just wanted a successful band, without the all the strings attached (fame, fortune, etc), but of course, if you're going to be successful, you've got to expect that. It's just that his style does seem to be a little depressing!
(Yes, I've done my reading on him... that's as close as I'm gonna get to knowing what he was about!)

Sad end really to very sad decade of her life. Can't really say that as an ex-playmate marrying an exceedingly rich 89 year old, she didn't realise just how hard his "true" heir would fight for his fortune.
All in the name of notoriety and greed, and very sad indeed.

Away from the debate...
My theory on how she died!
Quote:
Red Dwarf: S5E5: The Inquisitor...
KRYTEN: Well, the legend tells of a droid -- a self-repairing simulant,
who survives till the end of eternity; to the end of time itself.
After millions of years alone, he finally reaches the conclusion that
there is no god, no afterlife, and
the only purpose of existence is to
lead a worthwhile life.
And so the 'droid constructs a time machine,
and roams eternity, visiting every single soul in history, and
assessing each one.
He erases all those who have wasted their lives
and replaces them with those who never had a chance of life
-- the
unfertilized eggs, the sperms that never made it. THAT is the
Inquisitor --
he prunes away the wastrels, expunges the wretched, and
deletes the worthless!
PS. Sorry if i appear disrespectful, i'm really not. I just don't see how a plastic model who married an 89 year old man really 'deserves' my respect. And remember... we all have the right to free speech!

I guess it's time for ALL of you guys [mods included] to go back to your padded rooms. Playtime is over for the rest of the day as some of you seem to be missing out on your dosages.

I drop in a couple times a week for a quick scan of the forums but rarely post anymore, I don't always play well with others so it's usually best that I keep my comments to myself. all of my gaming time these days is spent with my Xbox 360, other than that I work a lot of hours at the Humvee plant and try to get a few hours sleep here and there.
