I'm in the process of wiring together a simple switch interface for my F-16 simpit and my pc froze and I lost the instructions!  I can't seem to find the website after looking for hours and I can't remember what the switch interface was called.  So I'm hopeing someone can point me in the right direction . . .  all I remember is that it required 40 diodes, a few resistors, a printer cable, and some software. . . Ring Any Bells?

Shocked
Eight diodes crammed into a single Euro-block terminal... not my idea of fun!
The whole thing is just a little too involved for my taste... but it's brilliant. Grin

Ehhh . . . . I've been soldering and working with electronics since I was 11 . . .  to me it seems easier than paying $$ for an EPIC card or a similar solution. Wink

It's cheaper, but not easier. I do plenty of that sort of thing at work as it is, and I've got tons of work to do on my pit besides the electronics, so for me, the cost is worth it.

The only nonpartisan criticism I have of that setup as pictured is that it doesn't look particularly robust. Even inside a box it would be pretty vulnerable.
But I'm sure there's a way to mount everything so it  isn't so fragile.

Maybe once it is bebugged and working encapsulate it in epoxy or something?  But then repair is out of the question if a diode goes south.

best,

Yeah . . . I mostly just used the schematic.  I built mine on a breadboard and a radioshack project container along with a some more of those euro connectors.
