Hi . I have the maam-sim R4D-6 payware for FS2K2 but it isn't quite compatible with FS9. Anyone know of the necessary tweaks to make it so? Undecided

AMD 64 X2-5200, NVidia 9600GT 512, 2048 DDR, 2x250 GB SATA, Saitek X45, Win XP SP3 (Win7-64bitRC1 and FSX on 2nd HD)

What do you mean?
Can you be more specific?

Wait a sec...you say yours is the 2002 version...?

Check their site; there may be an update patch available.

Yes, it is the 2K2 version and I have since learned that that one was the final upgrade from the original made for FS98. Apparently one must purchase a completely re-done version (Gmax) for FS9, so I have answered my own question, I guess. Too bad - it's a helluva nice airplane. I'll welcome any other suggestions for improving the default  -3, however!!

Is buying the new one completely out of the question? It's worth every penny, and other than a couple of patches (look here at SimV), there's not much you can do with the default one.

Certainly isn't out of the question, especially with that vote of confidence! That's now the plan. Thanks Smiley

You will LOVE it, especially with the cool new liveries AND the XC-47 floatplane version!!! It's slow, but a lot of fun to fly!!
