From what I've read here it seems theoretically possible to set up 3 monitors for left, right and fwd views, instead of switching back and forth on one monitor.

What would one need for that? and how would you get CFS2 to project those views simultaneously to 3 monitors

You would need this:

Thanks,

What do you have to do to get the software to output multiple views simultaneously?

I run CFS2 and maybe in the future FS 2004 or FSX.

I don't know personally. I'm thinking its done in the display properties. Right click on the desktop - select properties - select the settings tab - then click advanced button - another window opens and look through the different tabs. I'm sure all that is explained in the manual when you buy the thing.

The Matrox TripleHead2Go is a hardware solution.  Your graphics card will see a single 'monitor' of size 3072x768. You can either stretch a single view across this wide space or create 3 separate Windows (each 1024x768) and place one on each monitor  (it will handle other resolutions: 2400x600 and 3840x1024)
For FS2004 you need to run it in Windowed mode and setup your 3 displays as separate windows.
You then drag and size each window to fit in your 3 monitors

Regards

Jim

Thanks all,

I played with CFS2 a little, and I think I figured out how it could be done with the triplehead2go converter using seperate windows.

Now all I need is money.
