As you have already downloaded and installed "Teamspeak", have you read the Instruction Manual included in the "Help" Menu...?

It explains it all there... Wink...!

Paul... Cool...!

Roll Eyes  He clearly stated he was useing FSX, Teamspeak is not used in FSX.

While online, first make shure the server is useing a voice chat (most do), find out what chennel their on, then tune your comm1 channel to match. To talk you must press and hold Caps Lock, when done talking simply release the key.

If you are using the inbuild MP features of FSX incl. their chat software.. you don´t need teamspeak.
Because I never used this feature there is not much I can tell you about.

When you´re online using FSHostClient (essential when connecting with FSX to our Server)
the inbuild FSX chat software will not work.
In that case I would suggest using Teamspeak instead.
I explained in detail how to setup Teamspeak and adjust your microphone settings in this thread.
http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1129930528/4#4
Using Teamspeak with FSHostClient gives an interresting option.. "switch teamspeak channels
when changing Com frequency". So everyone using our server can request Teamspeak
channels from me.

For example... You want to make an ATC session having two ATC´s in Munich and Innsbruck.
You ´ll need to send me the ICAO and com frequencies. I will setup two channels named like this.
118.70 EDDM -- Tower
120.10 LOWI -- Tower
(It´s not limited to just to tower frequencies, center approach or anything else works as well)
Now all you need to do is activating the "switch teamspeak channels
when changing Com frequency" in the the FSHost Client Setup (just a checkbox).
And as soon as you set your radio to the correct frequency FShostclient will switch you to the corresponding
Teamspeak Channel. (only works for FSX user)

cheers,

sam

...Bleedin' Norah, Sam...!

Yet another good reason for sticking with simple, uncomplicated FS9, and "Sam's Server", when it comes to on-line-flying and communication...Wink...!

This "FSX Multiplayer Communication" malarkey is way over my head...!

Paul...G-BPLF... Cool...!
