With the changes to Studio V this competition got forgotten! My apologies!
The competition thread was below.

http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1163647882

The aim was to creat great cloudscapes either with or without
planes. There were some beautiful cloudy scenes, notably Ijneda's and Harold Kip's, but they
seemed somehow to be lacking the extra element that some scenery and/or a plane would bring.
And there were some very nice pics with planes, particularly MrJake2002's... a classic. But I felt
the clouds were playing second fiddle to the plane and scenery in that shot. In the end I went for a
shot which I felt best balanced all the elements:

Immelman's shot!

CONGRATULATIONS IMMELMAN!!!!!!!

As according to the old Judge's Choice rules, Immelman's shot will go into the gallery.

A new Judge's Choice competition will be posted tonight. According to the new rules, Immelman
shall be the judge! So pop in later and check it out!

Thanks for reading!

Congratulations Immelman! You very well deserved to win this one! Great shot and wowo ... those clouds.

Can you please explain which add-ons you used in this shot and how you set it up?

Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

To answer Harold's question, I used the FS2004 De Havilland DHC-3 Otter PZL by Eugene Heyart and I have FS Sky World installed.  When setting it up I knew I wanted to make it a little surreal because in my mind, screen art doesnt have to be real to be good.  I decided on a thick layer of cumulus clouds that I would be flying through, a layer of stratus clouds, and then a layer of cirrus clouds up high.  I thought it'd be interesting to see different levels.  I made it over water so the land wouldn't distract you from the clouds and at first I had the plane filling most of the screen, but, again, I thought it would distract so I moved the distance back using the recorder.  That's about it.

Thanks to Krigl for running this great competition!  Hopefully some of you will enter the new Judge's Choice!
