This is why I disabled signature images. I'm not picking on Ravang in particular - it's a board problem.
Here
is a screenshot in IE at 1024 x 768. The image overflows horizontally (note the scrollbar).
Here
is a screenshot in Firefox. The image overflows both horizontally and vertically (note
two
scrollbars).

I thought it was rather large. I'm running at 1240X1024 so I don't get any horizontal scroll bars. I do get the occasional vertical one when someone has quite a long columb of text with an image in their sig though.

This is a Yabb 2 issue. Alas the old forum rules said 800 pixels wide max but in Y2 it doesn't permit that much to be displayed and puts the scroll bars in. I have to agree it is a tad annoying...

This bit of CSS code fixed it for me. It may not be to everyone's liking because it cuts off everything that's outside of the box.
Code:
.scroll{overflow:hidden !important;}

Or you could just set your monitor to 1240x1024...

It's something that is on the 'to fix' list. As Ozzy says, it is a Yabb thing but not something you guys will have to put up with for too long.
The decks may be big but the brush is out & the sweeping is going on....

I need to get a bigger monitor first. Anything more than 1024 x 768 would look horrible on my 17" LCD ($600 state of the art when I bought it 5 years ago).
It's on the list.

Mines a 17" LCD...
1240x1024 is the native resolution though for it. If yours is five years old then maybe it's less...

Your eyes are a little younger than mine. I've tried that resolution - mine will go up to 1240 x 1024 - but I'd have to sit 6" from the screen to see it.
I have bumped up the resolution in the past but everything was so small I had to increase the size of fonts, icons, etc. to make up for it. It kind of defeated itself.
Another reason for keeping the resolution relatively low was that my comp was 7 years old and I didn't want to tax the memory and the CPU. I got a new one a few months ago and it hadn't occurred to me to increase the resolution.
I'd still rather have a bigger monitor, though.
