Ive gotton it overclocked higher than it is atm, but my question is, even if it will run is the object find a balance at a lower setting? Not like crashhing, hanging that kinda stuff but I noticed a performance decrease after I went over a certain amount. Temp and voltage were fine. Is there something im missing Huh

Edit: My card is a 512MB BFG 7950

Core clock currently is at: 649MhZ
Memory clock is at: 1.59GhZ

You say your voltages were fine, did you over volt your card? If not then there is no way your card was getting enough power hence the preformance drop.

Yea, I figured as much.

Your card is capable of running much faster, but due to the fact that you haven't volt modded your GPU the core can't get enough power to support the higher overclock.

DISCLAIMER!!!!
If you attempt this, and you melt, blow up, or otherwise rouin your GPU THIS IS NOT MY FAULT! I am merely provideing information, by no means am I coming to your house and doing this for you, nor am I holding a gun to your head and forceing you to. Now if ithor of the above were to occure, and the card becomes damaged then I would be willing to replace the card free of charge.

I did this to my 7900GT and am running 765Mhz core.
