Well... it's a bit chaotic. The ground is very dark, so the heavies jump straight at ya. They distract from the Eagle. I think brightening the ground would help a lot. Wink

Indeed Sytse,

the planes are all very brigth comapred to the dark and dominating ground. That makes it quite a bit unpleasing to look at. The eye has no real starting point or course to be led through the composition. It'S almost like the object are plastered everywhere, especially as everythign points into different directions. I suppose the Eagle is the main object in the image, so why is it put in the bottom left corner then? Kinda distracting. Having the image object off center is a good thing generally as placing objects in the very middle could kill all movement in an image and make it boring but i think it's too much movement here Wink

So much for my 2cents worth. Hope it doesn'T sound harsh but afaik if it's asked for personal opinions and they should be given with all honesty. Hats off mate!

I would agree with 9thSimplex. A brighter ground would improve this shot a lot.

Tom, please note that the StudioV has a section devoted to screenshot analysis called "Screenshot Critiques" You can find it at the Welcome Center, or by clicking here. For the next pic you'd like analyzed, just post it there as a reply, after the last post you see.  Smiley

There is way to much "ground" in this photo, so much that it distracts from the Eagle.  If you want the Eagle as the main focus, brighten up the ground, zoom in some more, and show more sky.  But, having said that, that's a wicked angle Wink.

WAY too dark, and the eagle is too low in the picture.  It would be better if the F-15 was against the sky
