The coolest thing happened to me today it was a Free Fly day at our local Airport,
and free donut day too
and there was a Cessna C150 there so I said to my self I've got to ride in that, and I got to but the best part was the pilot asked if I have flow on Flight Sim before and I told him I had then he told me that we were going to taxi out to RWY 24 and takeoff climb to 2000'ft and turn to heading 180 and I got to taxi a little, takeoff, fly, and get 2 miles before landing before he took back the controls. And I have never had a second of flight training ever.
Grin Grin Grin Cool

Well... you have now! Grin

Glad you enjoyed making the acquaintance of the C150. It's an excellent primary trainer.
How did you do taxiing? Wink

Pretty good because, I use rudder peddles with FS, but went the pilot was showing me how to taxi he was doing 40mph! I thought the taxi speed was no faster than a brisk walk Cheesy But I got invited back to his home airport which is 35miles up the road to go flying some time. Cheesy Can't wait!!! But flying the real thing beats the crap out of flying on a sim Grin

I really doubt he was doing 40... chances are good the needle on the ASI doesn't move below that speed.
You could get airborne (sort of) in a 150 at 40 mph. I often taxi a bit faster than a brisk walk, but 40 mph? Uh, no...

In any case... yes, there ain't nothing like the real thing! Enjoy your next flight and don't forget the pictures! Grin
